  23. I found your blog kind of by accident. I am a birthmom in an open adoption; my birthson recently turned 11. I also now parent my super awesome 19 month old son. July 2, 1998 was the day I legally terminated, and he became their son. I'm so happy that this day has had good karma for your family as well:)

Reading your blog brings me back, and helps heal me in so many ways. I love getting another peek into my son's parent's happiness through you and Ben.

Your son is beautiful! And so extra special for having many families who love him so much:)

  25. So excited for you!!!! I know it's already real that you have a son now, but just wait until you walk through the threshold of your front door. THAT'S when it really becomes your new life. Enjoy every second of your scrumptious son!

  26. Im sure he will do fine since babies sleep so much. You should be able to drive in 3 hour stints, then stop to feed, diaper etc. Safe travels

  27. Thought of you the whole day...driving...looking back to the babyseat...reminding yourself that that is your little boy in the seat...that you are a mama...and Ben is a daddy...that it is real...turning around...smiling...maybe a few tears running down...saying a silent prayer of gratitude...and then turning around... again...just to make sure! :0)
    Big hugs to you xx
