My baby is growing fast!!!

Tyrus has been smiling sporadically the last week or so, but never on cue and I sort of questioned whether or not they were truly smiles. He's also been cooing, but again, it was here and there. We woke up this morning and he's like a little man. I started talking to him, as I always do, and his whole face lit up! This continued for a solid 20 minutes before I ran for the camera.

I put him on his playmat, wanting to see if his smiles would continue...and they did!! Up to this point he would just scream when we tried it out. My baby literally grew overnight!

He is seriously the light of my life...we're having so much fun.

    Oh my goodness. Do I get to be the first to comment on this precious little boy? He is amazing. I cant wait to hear him laugh. He really responds to your voice. I love you both very much.

    He seems to glow with joy and love, what a wonderful little guy. It is so obvious how much time you must sepnd talking to him, he just lights up when you speak :)

    Oh I love the little breathing noises he makes, too! And the "O" mouth, too precious! My youngest daughter used to blow raspberries and it was absolutely hysterical. It's amazing how they can literally change overnight!

    I love how they (Parker, Gabe, and Ty) are all arriving at the same milestones together...it's so fun to see what I'm seeing in Gabe echoed in these other little men :) Can't wait to squeeze him on Sunday!

Many times I am crying with joy for you and Ben and then there are times that I just weep because I am so grateful that you both are the parents of my little grandson.     when Ty smiles his whole face smiles! I love it! Most babies ease into smiling first with little one corner of the mouth smiles- but not your boy! Was that the cieling fan he was giving smiles to as well?

    It's the best when they start reacting to you, I'll never forget when my son said "I love you" for the first time, he was a year and a half and was hanging on to the arm of my rocking chair, and I just about started crying. It really is the best thing in the world when your kids connect with you. Very cute video, and your next year will be full of overnighters-one day they're not doing anything and the next they are rolling over, sitting up and walking!!

    sooo, cute :) i know this feeling in your heart so well and it just gets better with everday. :) he's beautiful and i can't help but feel that we are SO blessed to have been chosen to be the mama's of these beautiful children. :) congratulations again! what an amazing journey we have been chosen for. :)

    Wow he has really bonded with you. If is so obvious how much time you spend talking to him. He knows you are his Mama. Who will be watching him when you return to work?...or are you returning to work? Have you ever thought about opening a home daycare in your home so that you can stay home with Tyrus? Just a thought.
