Wedding Fun

Little man might just make a wedding party world record before he's 5.  He stood up sat in his second wedding yesterday, as Ben's baby sister tied the knot (Still have all three of my siblings to go!). He looked adorable in his tux, but man was he grumpy! Wedding time was smack in the middle of nap/dinner time and Ty doesn't like missing out on either!  Most of my pictures look something like this:

But I did manage some cute ones, too.

Love that grumper face!

He knows how cool he is.

I love my little lover.

I love my big lover, too! :)

Ty gets some action before the "I Dos".

  4. Rebekah, we had the same experience with Mitch at about that age when he was in a wedding. Our pics look the same! Why can't they just plan events around our children's schedules?? But, the pics are cute, non the less!! (brought back many memories!)

  12. Thank you for all the sweet comments! Can't take credit for the dress - I was in the bridal party, but the necklace is from For Love. Only about eight bucks, but sure brought in the fan fare. Great buy!

Oh! And I never allow mean-spirited comments on this blog, but I let this anonymous one fly because it made me laugh out loud. Seriously? Grumpy because he's adopted?

I say this in love (or not)...GET A LIFE.

  13. Bravo Rebekah! It makes me sad to see my baby Ty cry, but I know he will soon be his happy self again. He sure rocks that tux, doesn't he?

  14. Dear other anonymous post,
I'm sorry that you are so bitter, and have nothing better to do than make dumb comments like that. You must be one of those people who doesn't think before they speak. It's alright though, we will let your immaturity slide because we are lovers, not fighters.
This is the luckiest child in the world! And the REAL reason he was so grumpy is because deep down he knew that it was going to make for some pretty adorable pictures that mommy would be able to show the world! :)
You are wonderful and your family is beautiful.

  15. Im pretty sure the "Anonymous person" won't read this, but whatever. I'm adopted and am pretty darn well adjusted. I was also adopted at an older age of four,so I knew my biological fam. Did I miss them? At times. Am I happy with how my life turned out? HECK YEAH!!! I have many adopted friends and they do NOT miss their biological families. They appreciate them because if it wasn't for them they wouldn't be around.
Ignorance is chosen. Educate yourself before you speak.

  17. Let's not give the annon. comment anymore attention. But Kristin I think you should have said a home where he couldnt be provided for as it comes across as the other Rebekah just may have an abusive home which we know is not true. I know you didnt mean this Just a thought but I do agree with Kristin.

  18. Moving on. Don't want this to turn into a mud-slinging contest. No more comments will be published. Let's all extend a little grace here.
