Ty's big day!! We dedicated him to the Lord, yesterday, at church. It was such a special, fun day!
I looked everywhere for a small tie for Ty to wear...but couldn't find one his size. So...I just made an applique for his onesie. I dare say he was one handsome man...and never looked cuter!!!We waited such a long time for this sweet boy. He's the center of our world.Parker and Tyrus are already the best of buds. It was fun to see them share their big day, together.
I Samuel 1. And she made a vow, saying, "O LORD Almighty, if you will only look upon your servant's misery and remember me, and not forget your servant but give her a son, then I will give him to the LORD for all the days of his life..."
"...she kept on praying..."
...the Lord remembered her...
"I prayed for this child, and the LORD has granted me what I asked of him. So now I give him to the LORD..." "...For his whole life he will be given over to the LORD."

Oh my goodness!! He is the cutest!! I love his big boy tie!! May God bless your little family. Prayers from Ohio. Mollie
ReplyDeleteHe is so cute. I am so happy for you and your husband. I myself am adopted. I was told from an early age how special I was. I was hand picked by God to be raised by the parents that could not have children. I do not know my birth parents but wish i did.
ReplyDeleteGod bless you and your husband. You are in my prayers.
Seriously- that tie is beyond words. But that TY is even more beyond words! He's so cute!
ReplyDeleteGod bless Ty!

ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful day it must have been!! Congrats!
ReplyDeleteAwesome! Just awesome!!
ReplyDeleteThis post gave me the chills!
ReplyDeleteI love the way the timing worked so well in our situations! Your son has as many little friends as Riley does! I wouldn't be any less thankful if Riley had no buddies/cousins close to her age, but it never stops sending chills through my body to think of the perfect timing of it all!
I LOVE the tie! It is the cutest thing ever!
Thanks for sharing all of these pics...this is a day I REALLY look forward to. I play the piano for our church, so everytime there is a baby dedication, I'm on stage. As I'm sure you know, there is something incredibly painful about watching those when you would love nothing more than to train up a child under God's instruction...you just don't have a child to raise. I admit that there are times I fumble around with my music to keep from watching because it hides my tears. I am SO happy for you that you got to experience the joy of dedicating your very own baby to the Lord yesterday; I knew that to you it wouldn't be just another "thing you do" when your baby comes along. I prayed that it would be a day you would never forget! And the tie is absolutely adorable!:)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations. I can't imagine what a special day it was for you -and I know you two meant every promise you made! Blessings!
ReplyDeleteHow absolutely beautiful!! And to think where you were when those other two pregnancy announcements came along...such a different time from now! But look how perfect the timing was, this is almost too much for me, it's so very perfect!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a beautiful and special day, I am so happy for all of you!
Love,
Melba

I love the scripture verse with the pictures. Brought tears to my eyes (and I don't cry easily!). God's Blessings for Ty!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. Seeing a family dedicating their long awaited but right on God's time precious baby. And seeing you praising the Lord by lifting your hands in those pictures was beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThat tie is the most cutest thing ever. I have to say he is so cute. I love the pictures. I couldn't be more happy for you. I hope I follow down the path as you did and my dreams of becoming a mom come true. I look at your story and it gives me hope and makes me smile that I get to read about a success story. I am extreamly happy for you both. He is a god sent.
