Day 345
Everyday I hear from Rebekah is a good day. Not only did I hear from her today, but I got to see Baby Boy, again!!! This is just about the cutest ultrasound picture I have ever seen. Our little pumpkin is gaining weight (weighed in at 3 pounds!) and it shows in his sweet little cheeks. My heart did flip-flops this afternoon when I saw him...he takes my breath away. I, of course, can't wait to meet him and have thought about it for weeks...but, when I saw him, today, I felt something new. I can't explain it apart from this deep longing to drink in his sweetness and impart everything I hold in my heart...
He sure is putting Rebekah through the ringer, though. Her blood pressure continues to heighten and the doctor is making her come in every week for bio-physicals. Baby Boy's Renal Pelvic Dilatation has cured itself on one kidney, but the issue is still present in the other.
Rebekah and I are both trusting God for our son.
My favorite part of the ultrasound is Baby Boy's smile. Can you see it? He's so happy...there's no where else he'd rather be than right there with his mama. I love it.
God is so good.
P.S. We get to love on Rebekah, in person, for the first time, in three days!!!!

ReplyDeleteOH that is so wonderful you get to meet Rebekah!!!
ReplyDeleteGood luck and congratulations to both of you!!!
That is awesome that you and Rebekah are meeting. I loved our meeting with S and the time we spent with her and her family in the hospital is so precious to us. It is great to see you and Rebekah building this relationship, it is going to be such a blessing in the future.
ReplyDeleteI carried the ultrasounds of Shelby with me all the time. It is amazing how much she looks like the ultrasounds even now.
WOW, how exciting that you will get to meet Rebekah in person soon, that is a huge milestone! I can't believe he is already up to 3 lbs...he will be here in no time!!
ReplyDeleteLove,
Melba
Awww, what a sweet little face! I hope your meeting goes extremely well and I'll be praying for you!
ReplyDeletePray for me, my inlaws are comming for Easter!
You got to see Rebekah in person?! Do tell!!!
ReplyDeleteHe is absolutely adorable. That is seriously the cutest ultrasound picture I've seen at his gestational age!!! I don't think I've ever seen a 2D U/S picture where you could see their cheeks! They usually just look like little skeletal faces.
o my goodness, you get to meet in three days, that is amazing, enjoy your time, it will be awesome :)
ReplyDeleteThat's so exciting that you're going to see Rebekah soon!
ReplyDeleteI love that you got to see another ultrasound picture. It must be so exciting!
I am soooooo happy for you! Cannot wait to see him in your arms!!
ReplyDeleteSo neat to see another ultra sound!
ReplyDeleteI'll bet you can hardly wait to see Rebekah!! Have you packed yet?
Are you driving or flying?
That's such a bummer that Rebekah is having such a rough time. Unfortunatly, that's often part of pregnancy. Two expectant moms from my church- I don't know them personally, but I've read this on a prayer sheet- are currently on bed rest. Please tell Rebekah that I'm praying for her and Baby Boy.
Have a good night and a great trip to Rebekah's. I can hardly wait to hear about it!
Hugs.
Tracy
God bless your baby. You're all in my prayers. :o)

yeah! its the 11th! cant wait to hear about it!
ReplyDeleteI have just stumbled upon your blog and Im hooked. We have just started this journey. Before I get too entrenched in reading everything, I was wondering if you could suggest some quotes or versus from the bible that would be appropriate to use in our profile book. I have only read the 3 posts listed to the side and each one had the PERFECT verse in it- I was hoping you would know of one that would be helpful for a birthmom to feel peace about her decision, whether to choose us or not, I just want her to have peace.
ReplyDeleteThanks, and congratulations!
o bekah, just seeing the picture of you two makes me want to cry!
ReplyDeletelook like you had a great visit, can't wait to hear about it!
