Preschool Pals

My babies grew up, today, and entered the world of preschool.

I was totally that mom. Walking the hall, sniffling, and remembering what the days leading up to today held.  I am so proud of my little men and the gentleman they are.

We have been talking about today a lot, trying to prepare LJ for a new environment. On the way to school, Ty said, "Mama, we will not be sad. We're brothers."

I heard a little "Brothers!" echo.

I love the family God has shaped us to be.

I asked the boys what they want to be when they grow up.

  2. I think most Mom's cry for school. Will they be in the same class? My husband had twins from a previous marriage and he said they always insisted on different classrooms. I know they are not twins but so close in age I imagine that you have to decide on this stuff too.

  3. I used to work as a mental health social worker with a foster care program and after so many years of seeing kids wait and wait for a family its so beautiful to see the other side of that story. Your boys have the freedom and safety to dream big dreams.

  10. LOVE! I love the idea of asking them what they want to be when they grow up and documenting that - too cute! I will also be that mom reminiscing and crying on their first days of preschool - it is what it is, lol!
