I am having such a great summer with my boys. We have been spending a lot of time in big pools, little pools, and waves at the beach.
They are just SO full of life!
A lot of times when they are playing together, I read, text, or surf the web. Today, I sat and watched them for well over an hour. I drank in every moment, thinking about what incredible gifts I have. There are so many challenges that come with having one three year old - let alone two - especially when one of them came to you AT two...but there are also many laughs, giggles, "huggies", and inquisitive questions.
Today, I thought about how much I would miss their chubby hands and spontaneous kisses.
Their unending questions and fascination in all things truck related.
LJ's morning snuggles and Ty's helpful suggestions.
My heart just beams with pride for both boys.
We ended our day with homemade ice cream cones on the front porch. LJ put his hand on my knee and said, "Mom. This is delicious."
I laughed out loud and said, "LJ, I love you more than you know...this IS delicious."
I can't think of a better way to spend my summer...
