We're in the pool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It finally happened! I'm too excited to think, and too emotional to handle the magnitude of what this means, today.
Our caseworker emailed me last night (I just read it this morning) to tell me that we are approved and officially "waiting." All that waiting, just to wait. Kind of funny. And Becky let me know that we are already up on the website [thanks, Becky!]!!! How exciting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yay! Congrats! I'm captivated by all the adoptive parent profiles; trying to choose a family as a birth mom would be tough. You can tell that you and Ben are so FUN and loving and that you laugh a lot. Who wouldn't want to place their baby with you?! I pray your wait will be filled with great last memories of "life before baby". *hugs*

ReplyDeleteI don't know you...you know, really know you...but my heart is so full for your journey and if I could give you a hug right now I would. Tearfully I read your profile and if I had a baby I would give it to you right now haha. Ya'll are going to make great parents, all you have to share with a child is so wonderful.
The Rebeckah loves and the Ben loves were my favorite parts. Waiting is hard, but every day is one day closer...don't forget that!!

YAY!!!!! I am so thrilled for you, this is GREAT news! I have a feeling (hope) that it won't be too long before you and I are BOTH holding tiny, new babies to our chests while they sleep. :) I am praying for you every day, and I hope the match comes quickly.
